Maria Island Walk

The Maria Island Walk is Tasmania’s latest 4-day guided walk, providing a rare experience of coastal and mountain landscape in a pristine national park which once hosted notorious penal colonies.  During your tour, you’ll ramble along the wildlife preserve of Crooked McGiness Lagoon and walk around the magnificent beaches of Shoal Bay before heading inland, where the adventurous can climb 711m to the summit of Mount Maria for breathtaking 360 degree views.  Later, relax and enjoy a sunrise boat trip to view the Australian Fur Seals in their natural habitat. The Maria Island walk is a peaceful and serene trip, where the most stressful thing you’ll do is decide whether to have red or white wine with your gourmet meal.
