Your East Coast Australia Tour has been carefully crafted to ensure that you experience the very best that the East Coast has to offer. Combining adrenalin-pumping activities with relaxation and reflection, this tour offers travelers of all ages an unforgettable Ozzie experience. Your experienced tour guide will organize all your excursions so that you can relax in the knowledge that each and every day will run smoothly.

Day 1
Depart the UK for Singapore with Qantas Airlines / BA aboard your evening flight from Heathrow or Manchester (other regional departures on request).

Day 2
On arrival in Singapore, we transfer your beautiful and conveniently located 5 star hotel - situated right on the waterfront, overlooking the harbour and some of the city's historical sites. Your accommodation is also within easy reach of the major shopping areas such as Orchard Road and Raffles Place.

Day 3
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel followed by a city tour that takes you to its colonial heart: Padang and Parliament House then onto Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of the oldest Temples in Singapore. We stop at Mount Faber to take in the view and call in at a local handicraft centre to really absorb the culture. A must see is next … the National Orchid Garden located within the beautiful Botanic Gardens.

En-route to Singapore Airport we visit the world famous Raffles Hotel. Enjoy a Singapore Sling or cool beer before the evening flight to Cairns.

Day 4
Our arrival at Cairns is early morning greeted by tropical heat.and a short transfer to our luxury accommodation at a deluxe resort. Take the time to relax by the many pools or simply chill out in your air-conditioned apartment. For the more energetic, a 5-minute bus ride will take you to the centre of Cairns or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the adjacent Botanical Gardens.

Join us this evening for a complimentary buffet meal - an opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers and tour director in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Day 5
Starts with an exciting full day cruise to Green Island on The Great Barrier Reef aboard "Big Cat" which is a comfortable air-conditioned 30 metre catamaran with spacious, luxurious interior cabins and a relaxed atmosphere.

Day 6
Enjoy your buffet breakfast at leisure as we will not be departing the resort until mid morning for a day in and around Port Douglas. This starts with a truly spectacular 44 mile scenic coastal drive north.

First stop Hartley's Crocodile Adventures - an unforgettable experience that allows you to view and interact safely with the wildlife in a natural environment. Timber boardwalks provide elevated viewing of wildlife as visitor’s journey through a range of natural habitats.

Onto Port Douglas with it's distinctive laid back atmosphere and tropical old world charm that has a surprising number of world-class restaurants, galleries and boutiques (many a famous person passes this way).

Day 7
A free day to relax before a memorable evening. The tour includes an experience to remember for a lifetime. Walk along the flame lit trail, beneath the canopy of the world's oldest rainforest. All around the sounds of the sleeping rainforest weave a special magic as you are enveloped by its ancient wonders. The candlelight flickers whilst aboriginal entertainers weave their own mysticism in the middle of the rainforest … the setting for this unique “restaurant”.Enjoy complimentary champagne and canapés followed by a gourmet meal with wine at this exclusive site  Return by coach to Cairns.

Day 8
Hop aboard a Skyrail Gondola & glide over the Rainforest canopy. Boarded walkways through the rainforest take you to the spectacular Barron Falls. Arrive at Kuranda village for shopping & markets. Choose to visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary or colourful Birdworld before returning by Scenic Steam Railway past Stoney Creek falls and pause at the Barron Falls lookout. Return to your deluxe resort by coach.

Day 9
Transfer from The Lakes to Cairns International Airport departing mid-morning for Brisbane. Transfer from Brisbane airport to your luxury apartment on The Gold Coast.

Situated in the desirable Main Beach area of the Gold Coast, your apartment is only a short walk from chic Tedder Avenue and a fully patrolled golden beach. Boutique shopping, fine dining with international cuisine, sidewalk cafes and bistros all add to the ambience of Main Beach.

The Gold Coast provides easy access to many National Parks, Mount Tambourine, Byron Bay and The Sunshine Coast (home of Steve “Crocodile Hunter” Irwins’ Australia Zoo.

The nearby theme parks at Dreamworld, SeaWorld and MovieWorld offer an adrenalin filled alternative. The night life offers an array of options from a lavish evening out complete with floorshow and meal to a stroll down to the heart Surfers Paradise where you can enjoy late night shops or sit and chat over a beer or coffee under the stars to the sound of the waves rolling up the beach. 

Enjoy a daily al-fresco breakfast in one of Tedder Avenue's café's.

Day 10 - 13
During your stay on The Gold Coast we include three day tours (or 4 days car rental). There is a huge choice of tours catering for all tastes including:

Day 14
Transfer to The Gold Coast Airport for your mid-morning flight to the hustle and bustle and world famous sights of Sydney.

A free afternoon … perhaps take a harbour cruise, past the Opera House and beneath Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Day 15
Spend today exploring this fascinating city. A city tour (booked locally) will show you the main sites including a visit to the world famous Bondi or Manly beaches.

For your last evening in Sydney a trip to Darling Harbour is highly recommended. Enjoy an alfresco meal in Cockle Bay surrounded by the sights and colours of this fabulous location.

Day 16
Depart Sydney for The Blue Mountains … a 2 hour journey by air-conditioned coach. En-route we visit Homebush Park, site of the 2000 Sydney Olympics, before arriving for lunch in the lovely village of Leura with it’s multitude of café’s, galleries and antique shops.

This afternoon we head for Katoomba and the famous “Three Sisters”. The more energetic can experience the breathtaking 1,000 step walkway down to the valley floor … we recommend taking the short, but very steep railway back up!

Tonight we stay at a splendid hotel with uninterrupted views of the Megalong Valley and across the mountains.

Day 17
Depart The Blue Mountains for one of Australia's most prestigious wine growing areas - The Hunter Valley - for a night at a Country Lodge. Blissfully quiet, you will wake up to beautiful birdsong and the sight of grazing kangaroos just outside your window. Your accommodation is set amongst emerging vineyards and 100 acres of lush, native bushland.

We visit two wineries during the afternoon including a full tour and tastings at Draytons, one the original Hunter Valley wineries and cellar door tastings at the world famous Rosemount Estate.

The tour includes a fabulous meal this evening at the award winning 'Shakey Tables' Restaurant (previous winner of Restaurant of the Year in New South Wales).   

Day 18
A two hour coach journey to our final destination … two nights at a luxurious resort and spa hotel on the pristine white sands of Port Stephens.

Spend the afternoon on the beach, by the pool or relaxing in the resort's spa.

Day 19
After breakfast we take the short journey to Nelson Bay for the morning Dolphin Watching Cruise. In season (June – August) this will include the possibility of seeing migrating whales. Spend your last afternoon in Australia at leisure or maybe some last minute shopping.

Day 20
A mid morning return to Sydney Airport for your afternnon flight with Qantas Airlines for Bangkok . On arrival we transfer you to your 5* luxury overnight accommodation. Offering a blend of Thai and French design, it has an excellent location on the prestigious Silom Road in the heart of Bangkok.

Day 21
Enjoy our boat cruise of the rivers and canals of this fascinating city, followed by a visit to the Grand Palace and a short City Tour.

Plenty of time this afternoon to visit one of the many shopping malls and snap up some of those famous bargains.

Depart Bangkok late evening for the UK.

Day 22
Arrive early morning at Heathrow Airport followed by (where appropriate) your connecting flight to your local airport.
