Day 1 : Arrive into Christchurch
Meeting service and pick up your car at the airport. Drive to your accommodation for the night.

Stay: The Charlotte Jane

Day 2 : Christchurch – Blenheim
Make your way north of Christchurch via the coastal road and Kaikoura to Blenheim, the sunshine capital of New Zealand. (approx 310km)

Stay: Old St Mary’s Convent

Day 3 : Blenheim
A Day free at leisure to explore the local area or take a Day trip. Thjis area is particularly famous for its wineries, many of which are a few minutes drive from your accommodation.A visit to Nelson and the surrounding areas is also an option.

For the more adventurous, a visit to the Abel Tasman National Park is a must. Many activities ranging from sea kayaking to tramping are available in this scenic part of the country.

Day 4 : Blenheim – Hokitika
Travel towards the west coast of the island, then down the coast through Greymouth and onto your accommodation – tonight in Hokitika

Stay: Villa Polenza

Day 5 : Hokitika – Wanaka
Make your way down the west coast, past the glacier towns of Franz Josef and Fox Glacier, through the World Heritage Park around Haast, then inland to the scenic Lake Wanaka. (approx 445km)

Day 6 : Wanaka – Queenstown
Enjoy the Day in Wanaka before taking a short drive to the adventure capital on New Zealand – Queenstown! (approx 117km)

Day 7 : Queenstown
Full Day free at leisure to select your optional sightseeing adventure. Choose from a thrilling jet boat ride, a high country sheep station visit, a vintage steamer lake cruise, a mountain gondola and bungy jumping.

Day 8 : Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown
Make you way via Lake Te Anau to Milford Sound where you will enjoy a cruise on this scenic sound. Return to Queenstown. (approx 585km)

Day 9 : Queenstown – Dunedin
Travel to Dunedin, the ‘Edinburgh’ of the south, via Clyde and North Otago. (approx 285km)

Day 10 : Dunedin
Day free at leisure. You may like to take a cruise on the harbour or maybe visit the home of the Royal Albatross Colony or the Yellow Eyed Penguin Colony.

Day 11 : Dunedin – Christchurch
Make your way to Christchurch. (approx 365km)

Day 12 : Christchurch
Tour concludes with returning your rental car to the city or airport depot.
